'Life Style' block of land

Some of the land Sections are on separate titles, bordered by a creek on one side, the Estaury on another side. Access is easy from Road or from the driveway in front of the house. The land includes some high ground also some low lying area. The quarter acre section  next to the business building is covered in daffodils in spring, an uplifting sight with the wow factor, the flowers are the only remnant left from a cottage that once stood here, watching lambs jumping among the flowers is a delight to see.

Looking over the fence.

No neighbours this side, and you own the land, only a magnificent view that changes with every  day. The sea can be turquiose blue like the colours of tropical waters, through to indigo and soft blue greens, and of course dark and stormy. This is Foveaux Strait and it's known for it's changeability. There are two main rivers that flow into Fortrose Estuary, (Toetoes Estuary) they are the Mataura River, well known for great fishing and the Titiroa River, both are favourite spots for whitebaiting.

The Hill we rest on.

No neighbours this side, The buildings are on the sunny side of the hill, sheltered from most of the winds that Foveaux Strait can sometimes whip up. This means we can sit on the varandah of the Gallery and not be aware of the true  intensity of the weather. The gazebo in the back garden is also sheltered from the southerlies. The garden and the BBQ can be enjoyed wind free. In this photo taken from near Box Creek, shows some of the land in this purchase.

Sort those sheep.

Fences have been erected dividing acres of land for controlled grazing  Shearing, holding pen and loading ramp have been built. Gates give vehicle access to the land, water supply tank (extra from the house supply) for animals to drink has been set up with catchment from the shearing shed roof.
